We offer a comprehensive English curriculum that spans all grade levels, from foundational grammar and vocabulary to advanced literature and writing. Our courses are structured to build upon each other, ensuring that students’ progress in their reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities.

Our English department also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including:

Book Club: A place for students to engage with books outside the classroom, share their thoughts, and participate in lively discussions.

Writing Competitions: Students can showcase their writing talent and creativity in both school and regional competitions.

Theatre & Drama : We encourage students to explore dramatic arts by taking part in school plays, providing a platform for both acting and scriptwriting.

Debate : A great opportunity for students to develop their public speaking and argumentation skills.

In order to avoid restricting mathematics to rote learning, new methods of teaching mathematical concepts are being implemented in response to an increasing demand for innovations in teaching techniques worldwide.

Science is the key to solving many of the world’s challenges. Our approach to science education is designed to ignite the imagination of our students, allowing them to explore, experiment, and question everything around them. We encourage students to not only grasp scientific principles but also to think creatively and develop skills that will serve them for life – from problem-solving to collaboration.

We offer a range of science courses designed to cater to different learning styles and interests. These courses aim to provide students with a solid foundation in various scientific fields while allowing them to specialize as they advance in their studies.

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE:
A dynamic introduction to the wonders of the natural world, focusing on basic concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE :
Students explore more complex topics with hands-on experiments, including physical science, earth and space science, and life sciences.

HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE:

Biology: The study of living organisms, from cells to ecosystems, and develop an understanding of how life processes work.

Chemistry: Learn about the properties of matter, chemical reactions, and the periodic table while engaging in laboratory experiments.

Physics: Explore the fundamental laws of nature, from motion and forces to energy and electricity, with practical applications.

Science Labs
Our state-of-the-art science labs provide students with the resources and environment to apply their learning practically. With modern equipment, students engage in experiments that bring theory to life and prepare them for real-world scientific inquiry.

Our Science Club, annual Science Expo, and Science Olympiads provide students with the opportunity to work on projects, compete, and share their discoveries with peers and the wider community.

Students at SCAD have an Physical Education programme that takes into account their rapid physical growth and development. Social and emotional changes are also taken into account at this level. Students are starting to show signs of belonging, both to their own peers and to larger groups. They’re becoming more self-assured in their own abilities. It is clear that they are eager to put their skills to the test, both on their own and with others.

The goal of the course is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the media and methodology. All mediums are explored by students in order to express their thoughts and create a wide variety of art works within a set of guidelines.

Students will learn about the fundamentals of music theory, such as melody, harmony, and rhythm. At each stage, the knowledge gained will be put into action through vocal training and instruction in the use of melodic and percussion instruments.
